Micha Bruinvels has been at World Press Photo for more than 13 years, starting as a project manager for youth education, corporate publications and the Children’s Jury.

Bruinvels became manager of the World Press Photo Contest in 2004, when he initiated and completed the transition to a full-fledged digital workflow. He has also managed the Multimedia Contest since its start in 2011.
