Dealing With

I took a trip in the Summer of 2012. I’d been struggling with dealing with other people during the whole journey. But strangers were always the easiest.
I encountered people on the street, a fleeting engagement, and yet there, present. I extended myself through the objects between us. Reaching out, yet estranged. Failing to communicate.
That’s how we are, living in the world. We are trying to hide in our comfort zone, and always looking out for the rabbit holes.
