“Learning to See” Deconstructing photography, to have a better understanding on what makes it a successful photograph that will stand the test of time.
One of the main goals of the workshop , will be to expose the group to what I feel are the common mistakes that many working photographers are making today. While also highlighting the successes of what makes a good photograph. This is a process that is both extremely helpful to photographers along with editors who work with images on a daily basis.
Through this process I also hope to help each, participant understand and develop what might be their own personal style.”
- Day one is spent deconstructing photojournalism today. With an emphasis on the masters & common mistakes that are prevalent in photojournalism photos.
- Day two will focus on the industry & the changes that digital has created with how images are perceived.
- Day three will be spent going through each individual photographer’s work. This is a group exercise & experience.”
