Nikolia Apostolou

Nikolia Apostolou is a multimedia journalist and a filmmaker currently
based in Athens, Greece.

She’s now writing and doing video on the Greek economic crisis for The New York Times, USAToday, The Christian Science Monitor, and other media outlets around the world. In May 2012, she co-directed a documentary on the Greek elections and followed Greek far-right wing party, Golden Dawn. Nikolia earned her Master’s Degree in Digital Media at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She’s lived in Istanbul, Riyadh, and New York and keeps traveling the globe.
