Black.Light Project – Talk & Multimedia Performance

Accompanying the outdoor exhibition showing an extract of the project Black.Light Project, Wolf Böwig, war photographer and initiator of the project Black.Light Project, will report about the project in the court of the Global Music Academy.
He will talk about the model project of combining photos, text and comic-style illustrations by young famous Hollywood animation artists to effectively communicate the James-Taylor-Wars in Africa to younger audiences. Böwig will share the team experience of staging the project at museums, festivals and other venues in Germany and Africa and conduct workshops with youth and older people during the last year.
In a live performance the Berlin actor Alexander Radszun will read a shortened version of the text “Reporting Violence” of Pedro Mendes (Black.Light Project author), accompanying to a short animation movie of the project.
The event is realized as part of the transnational project “Open the Shutters”, funded by  the Culture Programme of the European Union European.
